Situated deep in the dense pine forests of Rila Mountain, Rila Monastery is the biggest and most important Orthodox cloister in Bulgaria.It is an outstanding example of the Bulgarian cultural and historical heritage, in which architecture and painting merge harmoniously. The site is part of the UNESCO World Heritage list. Rila Monastery was founded in the 10th century by St Ivan Rilski, a hermit canonized by the Orthodox Church. His ascetic dwelling and tomb became a holy place and later on, a monastic complex was formed. It played an important role in the spiritual and social life of medieval Bulgaria. After the guided visit to the Monastery complex and lunch, we will head back to Sofia. On the way, we will stop at the second UNESCO site for the day Boyana church. The tasting is accompanied by appetizers and water: - Rhodopean trout with a Muscat; - Vegetables (fresh and dried) from Thrace with a Rosé; - Bulgarian cheese from Plovdiv region with a Merlot; - Lukanka (local salami) from Stara Planina Mountain with a Pamid (the oldest Bulgarian wine variety); - Chocolate sticks with DiVes Sweet wine. The winery offers a big tasting hall for 50 people and a free bus/car parking. This amazing boat trip will enchant you at sunset. Very romantic enjoyment of this part of the Black Sea overlooking at Nessebar New & Old towns, Sunny Beach, Pomorie and Ravda. Absolutely fantastic end of the day suitable for couples, singles and families.

This amazing boat trip will present you the bays of Nessebar, Ravda, Pomorie and Sunny beach in the distance which are also fantastic destinations. You have 4 hours inclusive of cruizing, stop for swimming and barbeque on the boat, fishing and sunbathing. All drinks are unlimited! The morning departure for 2024 starts at 09:30 and the afternoon departure starts at 14:30. If the sea conditions would not allow it for the afternoon, the departure will be switched for the morning so that you will always have the option to enjoy the trip. Please, note that sometimes depending on the sea/wind conditions fishing and swimming may be affected.

Our instructors will give you interesting trivial information and insights on the customs of the region. You will get to take photos in a traditional dance costume(garb).
