Among the 5 tours I offer, I take you today to the lavender fields of Provence and to 2 typical villages that are Gordes and Roussillon. I will first take you to the Abbey of Senanque, an 11th century building with magnificent lavender fields managed by the monks. You will then spend free time in the village of Gordes, built of dry stone on a rocky promontory. Then we will make a quick stop at the iconic viewpoint on the village before a picnic consisting of fresh produce from local farms. We will then enjoy the magnificent lavender fields of the Plateau des Claparèdes and Velleron, all with Mont Ventoux as a backdrop, interspersed with a visit to the village of Roussillon, with its facades entirely composed of ochre, giving it its unique color.
Visit the most famous roman aqueduct, the Pont du Gard. Discover the treasures of Nîmes, the square house and the Arena . And be part of 2000 years of history through a walking tour in one of the most beautiful middle age town of Provence: Uzès, before returning to Avignon.
Open to solo travelers! A tour to take your time discovering 2 beautiful villages in the Luberon, including Gordes, which preserves the heritage of its agricultural and artisanal past (local market on Tuesdays). You’ll make a stop at the 12th-century Sénanque Abbey, a place of peace surrounded by lavender from June to July. Then you’ll go to Roussillon, the ochre village, and its old extraction site set up as a trail, which you can visit (entry included), and then stroll through the colorful village to enjoy a leisurely lunch break. Your day will end in Fontaine-de-Vaucluse, where you’ll discover the gushing and refreshing waters of 'la Sorgue,' a fascinating and clear river, and you’ll learn about traditional handmade paper-making techniques as in the 15th century. Note: This tour requires a suitable fitness level for walking, including the ability to go up and down stairs.

Among the 5 tours I offer, I take you today to the Roman monuments of Pont du Gard, Nimes and Orange. The tour will start in Nimes with a quick stop in front of the Maison Carrée, an ancient Roman temple, before taking an audio-guided tour of the Nîmes Arena. NB: from November to March, only a walk in the old town of Nîmes will be made, to see the main monuments. We will then stop at the Pont du Gard, for a picnic of local produce from local farms (from April to October only), then to stroll around the Pont du Gard for great views of this monument. Finally, we will head to Orange for a stop at the Arc de Triomphe and an audio-guided tour of the majestic Ancient Theatre. NB: from November to March, the tour will be done in reverse.

Cooking classes start at 9 a.m. with an appointment at the Cuisine Centr'Halles located inside the Les Halles d'Avignon market. We start with a visit to the Market to talk about local products, taste and especially create our menu together. We'll choose our ingredients and craft our menu, then head back to the kitchen for our class and cook our lunch. Lunch is included and consists of the menu we have prepared, water, wine and coffee. The full event ends at 1:30 p.m. Cooking demonstrations are a fun and light alternative to cooking classes. These begin at 9 a.m. with a meeting inside the market at the Cuisine Centr'Halles. We start with a market visit and tastings at some of my favorite vendors. We then return to the kitchen to prepare my tapenade recipes and some other daily preparations.
