The day starts at 730am as our guide collects all guests from Port Douglas. After crossing the Daintree River by ferry, our first stop is Alexandra Lookout. Stunning views and well worth a photo. Once at Cape Tribulation, your guide will take you the beach where the rainforest meets the reef. The Treetops Adventure Centre is where the ziplining fun begins. Get geared up, have morning tea and we're on our way to the start of the ziplining course. 2 hours of fun in the trees as guides take you through the canopy of the oldest rainforest on Earth. Having worked up an appetite, lunch is served at a rainforest retreat while exchanging stories about the fun had in the trees. Our next stop is a crocodile & wildlife cruise. 1 hour on the water searching for crocodiles, interesting wildlife and the incredible eco-system of mangroves. Daintree Ice Cream Company is where guests can purchase an ice-cream made from tropical fruit grown on the property, a must do. Arrival in Port Douglas around 5pm
Immerse yourself deep into the rainforest by taking a trip on our world-renowned wildlife experience cruise. During your 60 – 90 minute journey, you will slowly glide along the Daintree River while one of our local guides shares their knowledge about the unique tropical ecosystem. Along the way, you will also have the chance to see native wildlife such as Estuarine Crocodiles in their natural habitat. We want every guest that visits with us to leave loving the river as much as we do. While we can’t guarantee what wildlife you’ll see, each cruise provides a unique experience. We encourage you to make the most of your trip by asking any and all questions you may have.
A late afternoon cruise finishing at sunset is the perfect way to finish your Daintree experience. Floating on the water, enjoying the late afternoon light, watching wildlife foraging before sunset, often with a multitude of egrets flying home to roost for the night, there are few better places to be than out on the Daintree River. Highly sought-after birds (kingfishers, herons, frogmouth among others) as well as saltwater crocodiles & snakes are seen on most cruises. Cruises cater for a maximum of 10 passengers (with a minimum age of 6 yrs old. Cruises are customised to the interests of the passengers. The boat used is a unique ‘hybrid’ utilising both a regular outboard & an incredible electric motor which creates less disturbance enabling outstanding views of wildlife. Cruises start & finish at the public boat ramp in Daintree Village. Transfers are NOT possible. Daintree Village is 45 mins from Port Douglas, 75 mins to Cape Trib. There is NO public transport to this location.
Ngana Julaymba Dungay: We All Going Daintree Spend the morning or afternoon with a local Aboriginal tour guide, learning about culturally significant areas and the connection the Kuku Yalanji still have with their land. Learn the history, culture and traditions of the local Aboriginal people and the area. Guided walk through the rainforest and coastal habitats learning about the environment, different foods and medicines utilized from nature, sample some bush tucker, collect shellfish and try traditional Aboriginal hunting practices, have a go at spear throwing and if you are lucky, catch a mud crab. Complete the adventure by cooling off in a pristine freshwater stream.
This is a great tour for those who only want to spend a half-day out or are short on time. We visit two areas on this trip, Daintree River and Mossman Gorge. We begin with a drive along the Captain Cook Highway, on the way to the Daintree River, and share a little history along the way. Here, we board a cruise along the Daintree River, looking out for local wildlife, including the estuarine crocodile, snakes, birds, frogs, and more. After the Wildlife Cruise, we enjoy morning tea with Lamingtons and tea/coffee. Once in Mossman Gorge National Park, we conduct an interpretive walk along an elevated boardwalk. Weather dependent, we can enjoy a dip in the crystal-clear rainforest stream, whilst being surrounded by the beautiful and healing Mossman Gorge rainforest. What a memorable way to spend your morning!

Sail to the Great Barrier Reef’s Low Isles during a relaxing, afternoon cruise aboard a luxury catamaran. Departing from Port Douglas, Poseidon is a 24 metre catamaran offering an exciting boutique adventure, perfect for small groups of experienced divers and confident snorkellers. With access to exclusive remote reef sites, expert marine interpretation and citizen science, guest numbers are capped at 65. Poseidon visits 3 different sites in one day at the stunning Agincourt ribbon reefs. Certified divers can enjoy up to 3 dives and introductory diving is also available. With marine biologist interpretation at each site, snorkellers have the opportunity to participate in a monitoring survey. Poseidon has a special permit allowing guests to swim with dwarf minke whales if encountered.
As the sun sets behind the mountains of Mossman Gorge, enjoy a drink as well as some complimentary cheese and nibbles on the foredeck of Indigo 2. Indigo 2 is the only vessel that runs a two-hour sunset cruise, giving you plenty of time to soak up the stunning twilight atmosphere. With a maximum capacity of 12 guests, Indigo 2 provides a fantastic opportunity for our guests to experience a Port Douglas sunset cruise, but without the crowds.

We are the only half day Outer reef tour departing from Port Douglas offering you the opportunity to visit the Outer Reef in 3.5 hours. We visit our own exclusive snorkelling site and with a maximum of 14 passengers allows you more space to snorkel at your leisure. The speed boat ride is half the fun and is too fast to get seasick.
