Our Estate to Plate experience is a unique experience during any season of the year. You could taste the grapes around vintage, learn how we grow and make use of our seasonal produce or explore the property’s natural wetlands and extensive permanent sculpture collection. Experience Montalto’s ‘Estate to Plate’ philosophy with a guided walk with our chef through our estate kitchen gardens. Following this, be guided through an educational and entertaining tasting in a breathtaking setting. Finally, experience Montalto’s estate to plate philosophy in action, with a stunning 5-course tasting experience with award-winning wines. This truly is an experience like no other.
Victoria’s first ‘designer custom blend’ hands on candle workshop experience. Learn the art of candle making in this fun, hands on 90 minute workshop. You'll be greeted on arrival with a complimentary glass of wine and by the end of the workshop you will have designed two of your own custom candles to take home.

Our Mornington Peninsula Discovery Tasting and Lunch does just that. You're guided through an entertaining and educational tasting in a breathtaking setting. Taste current and back vintage wines whilst overlooking the vines and kitchen gardens, followed by a leisurely shared lunch that is drawn from the estate's produce gardens. The unique setting of the Montalto Estate on the Mornington Peninsula truly makes this experience unique for food and wine lovers.
Breathe in the fresh sea air, sample local cuisine, and soak up the relaxed alfresco lifestyle of the Mornington Peninsula, just an hour from Melbourne. We offer a hop on hop off service through the wine regions of Victoria where you can choose your own stops from our timetables and plan your day YOUR WAY! Please note that some venues require bookings and have also implemented paid tastings (regardless of group size and whether you are driving yourself or with a tour operator). As a hop on hop off service you will be responsible for booking your tastings but do not worry our venue guide and helpful staff is here to give you lots of recommendations if you are not sure where to hop!
