Avoid the crowds aboard your own private boat. The boat is located in the newly renovated West Bay Yacht Club, Head to the most popular Grand Cayman destinations in comfort and without rush. Once you arrive, your captain will give you a safety briefing, and you can decide what stops you want to make first.

This tour is the best of the best! It includes two snorkel stops (one of which will be a conch dive during conch season, Nov. 1st through April 30th), the Stingray City sandbar for interaction with the stingrays, and a fresh seafood lunch on the beach across the North Sound (near Kaibo/Rumpoint). Our crew will dive for conch in season and you are welcome to help them. They will even clean up some shells so each family unit who wishes can take one back home with them (supply limited). The rest of the year, you will have extra snorkeling (or Starfish) stop instead of the conch dive.

Next is Snokeling at the Coral Reef. Here the First Mate will accompany you in the water to guide you around the reef, point out marine life and keep you safe. Starfish Point is last and is a seculded beach home to many Red Cushion Sea Star Starfish. Explore 3 unique sites with us... Starfish Beach, Stingray City and the Coral Gardens! Length of Tour: ~3.5 hours We will take you to the world-famous Stingray City Sandbar where you will have the chance to interact with the Southern Stingrays. The Coral Gardens is your snorkel stop where you will snorkel with an array of colorful fish and beautiful coral. Your final stop will be Starfish Beach. Here you will be able to interact and take pictures of the starfish in their natural environment and enjoy the beautiful white sand beach. After all the excitement, we will take you on a relaxing ride back to our dock where you will be picked up by your awaiting bus and driven back to the cruise ship pier.

There are only a handful of bioluminescence or bioluminescent bays in the Caribbean, and not many more than that in the world. They only occur in certain places because they only happen naturally under very specific conditions. The water in Bio Bay is very warm and salty with an abundance of nutrients and seagrass, the perfect environment for special microscopic plankton. These plankton occur all over the island, and all over the Caribbean, but the concentration we find in Bio Bay is what makes for a fantastic experience. Because of these plankton “bioluminescence,” it produces a very short burst of light when stimulated by movement. The Bio Bay is best viewed by floating in the water. With snorkeling gear, you’ll float in this magical bay mesmerized as your movements create trails of light in the water. This shimmering light show is awesome, and if the timing and conditions are right, you might even see the mating glow worms which occur two to three days after the full moon.

The initial destination on this exhilarating expedition is Coral Gardens, an underwater location with a depth ranging from 8 to 10 feet. For safety reasons, it is important for all participants of the snorkel trip to wear life jackets during the snorkel stop. Stingray City is the most prominent and extended stop on the tour. At Stingray City, visitors get the opportunity to feed stingrays while they elegantly glide across a sandbar. Starfish Point is the last stop on the tour, which is perfect for all ages.

Your trek to the bioluminous bay leaves at 5:30 PM in winter months and 6:30 PM in the summer months from the Cayman Island Yacht Club Dock B Slip 43. Enjoy a beautiful Cayman sunset on the way to Starfish Point. Bring your own beverage, light dinner or snack to enjoy on the boat or the beach. Coolers and ice water are provided. After leaving Starfish Point we head into the beautiful bio bay and spend 30-45 minutes in the bay. You can swim in the bay wearing a snorkeling mask and life vest or stay on the boat to view this amazing sight. Enjoy star-gazing on your journey back to the dock. You might even see a shooting star on a clear night! Tour is back at the dock by approximately 8:00 pm or 9:00 pm, depending on season and departure time.
