Beside the landscapes, fauna and flora and the numerous wild rivers which form some of the most beautiful waterfalls in Portugal, it has a rich culture, history and heritage. Its monuments go back to the time before the birth of the nation, its villages still retain their peculiar culture and traditions, and villagers still live as their ancestors did.
Santiago is one of the most popular destination for catholic pilgrims in the whole world. Is the capital of Galiza (Spain), and is the location of the Santiago Cathedral (1075 – 1128), where the remains of Santiago the Apostolic can be founded. The Routes to Santiago are humanity heritage by UNESCO and are used by thousands every day on the journey to the religious capital of the Iberian Peninsula. On our tour we will dedicate the morning to visit the cathedral, and after lunch hanging around the middle age city of Santiago, discovering some secrets in its narrow streets. On the return there’s also a stop in Valença do Minho, the Portuguese border city at the top north. Here we will focus our visit in the fortification with roots from the XII and visible reconstruction from the XVIII. A unique view for the city, Minho river (natural border), and Spanish side.

Welcome to Roof of the World! In this activity you will climb the Via Ferrata Roof of the World. It is considered the highest via Ferrata in Portugal (not the hardest). This event includes all Via Ferrata and security equipment and expert monitors in the activity who will help throughout the event. Initially we will give a briefing where we will explain all the safety and event rules. Climbing or via ferrata experience is not mandatory. Not recommended for people with vertigo or poor mobility. Minimum age to practice: 14 years

It is performed in recreational rivers, where you can try different techniques such as classic or guided abseiling, slides, jumps into the water (optional) or even water slides!
