If you like to be independent, you can hire your own boat in Lanzarote and go sailing without a licence. In Playa Blanca, you can hire 15hp motorboats to get you around the island's coastal waters. The boat hire in Playa Blanca is also a good place for beginners, with thorough instruction. The Remus boats for hire here are easy to handle and manoeuvre.
