The Teleférico Benalmádena offers a high altitude journey on an exclusive cable car ride that starts in Benalmádena and takes you to the top of Monte Calamorro. The Caminito del Rey, known as "the most dangerous trail in the world", is located only 60 km from Malaga. Enjoy a guided tour including entrance, expert local guide, safety helmet, water bottle and shuttle bus from Hotel La Garganta (El Chorro, south access) to the start of the tour, returning to the same point at the end. For about 3 - 4 hours you will travel 7.7 km of trails and walkways suspended over the impressive Gaitanes Gorge, with heights up to 105 m. As you walk, the guide will share the history of the place and discover spectacular views of the Guadalhorce River, the El Chorro Swamp and the natural landscape. The experience culminates by crossing the emblematic suspension bridge of Caminito del Rey. At the end, you can choose between crossing the new longest pedestrian suspension bridge in Spain, or returning along the alternative path, before returning to Hotel La Garganta.
