Return journey: We WILL have you back to your ship around 1 hour prior to its departure time. We nearly always arrive back BEFORE the ship’s own buses. We’re very efficient and have been doing this for 7 years, serving thousands of cruise passengers every summer season. This carefully curated one-day Highland tour takes you beyond the obvious and into the soul of the Highlands. Departing from Inverness, you’ll experience the quieter north side of Loch Ness — a more remote and atmospheric stretch of the loch, rich in history, legend, and raw Highland beauty. The journey continues to the enchanting Cawdor Castle, tucked away in woodland and famed for its ancient past and romantic gardens. Step into powerful Scottish history at Culloden Battlefield, then visit the mysterious Clava Cairns, made famous by Outlander and steeped in ancient myth. Along the way, enjoy classic Highland scenery — rolling moorland, forest glens, and the chance to meet iconic Highland cows up close.
Your journey to the Isle of Skye is a private experience designed entirely around you. Travelling in comfort with your own guide, the day can be shaped to match your interests and pace. The itinerary remains flexible so you can spend more time at the places that capture your imagination. The Isle of Skye is celebrated for its dramatic beauty, but it is also an island steeped in legend. As we travel through its glens, coastlines and mountains, I bring the landscape to life through stories that have echoed here for centuries. Many come from Gaelic and Norse traditions, telling of giants and ghosts, water horses and kelpies, saints and sinners, and the mysterious world of fairies and witches. More than a sightseeing tour, this is a journey into the spirit of Skye. My aim is to be your storyteller and guide, sharing not only the island’s remarkable places but also the legends, history and culture that make it unforgettable.
This isn’t just a sightseeing trip — it’s a carefully curated journey through the very soul of the Scottish Highlands, blending history, nature, whisky, and wildlife into one unforgettable day. You’ll stand at the Millionaire’s View and understand why the Highlands take your breath away, wander cobbled streets that have barely changed in centuries, and come face to face with iconic Highland cows on a working farm — not a tourist attraction. At the heart of the day is Dunrobin Castle, one of Scotland’s most spectacular yet lesser-known treasures. With formal gardens inspired by Versailles and a history stretching back through the powerful Clan Sutherland, it rivals anything Europe has to offer — without the crowds. The tour also weaves in authentic Highland hospitality, from a whisky bar inside a 15th-century castle to a peaceful finale at Loch Fleet, where seals bask undisturbed on the sandbanks. This is the Highlands as they were meant to be experienced — wild, grand, and personal.
