A nice lake with a beach where you can go swimming, sunbathing, or picnicking. Lots of grassy areas, picnic tables, and of course sand. Parking adjacent to the main area. WC in the premises. A children’s playground in the vicinity as well. Some people also come to fish. The overall scenery is very beautiful but the water was brown and muddy - not that clean and filled with geese droppings. We went on a Monday so it was quiet save for a children’s group that happened to be there as well. If you go in a Monday, you won’t be charged for parking or entrance. Snack stand selling food. Great for a day out with the kids.

Brilliant family friendly beach Brilliant food value cafe and activities Those complaining about the 2 euro entrance need to get a grip! It’s 2 euros for anyone over 7 years (except Monday when it’s free) and for that you get shaded parking, a lifeguard (not Monday), clean toilets, a clean beach and nice roped off swimming area, playground and access to a wonderful cafe and activities …..what a great value day out for just 4 Euros for us and our young children!!! The cafe is also brilliant, friendly couple run it, cheap sandwiches freshly made, cheap coffee and drinks and lollies from just one euro! I especially enjoyed an afternoon aperol!
