Tempted? :) Live a 3-hour experience on the Parma hills (in Valmozzola) and become a truffle hunter for a day, guided by Flavia and her two truffle dogs. At the end of the hunt an amazing truffle lunch (or dinner) prepared by Mamma Laura will wait for you, so that you'll also join a Truffle Food Tour (vegetarian and vegan options are also available). As you arrive you will be welcomed by our truffle dogs Trilli, Maya and Ludo, hard workers and also part of our family! We'll start the hunting from our truffle farm and continue into the surrounding woods. Immersed in the nature of the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines (we are 1 hour drive from the amazing Parma Food Valley, 1 hour drive from La Spezia/Cinque Terre and 1:30 drive from Milan), our dogs will lead you to the truffles, which you'll dig out with your own hands. Depending on the season, we can find black summer truffles or fall truffles. The truffle hunting can last between an hour and an hour and a half (it will depend on how much we manage to find!) and will end with a lunch (or dinner) depending on the start time. You'll taste our truffles (the very fresh ones you'll find with the dogs) and our homemade truffle products, all freshly cooked by "chef" Laura :) It will be a one in a lifetime and unforgettable experience with locals, we promise! :) The perfect experience for dog lovers, hikers and foodies! It's also possible to arrange a pickup service from the railway station Solignano or Berceto upon request for max. 4 people. For more than 4 people please contact us. Watch the cheese makers pull the product from the milk vats and visit the shaping and salting rooms before going to the stagionatura where the cheese is aged. Then, taste the delicious cheese with local wine. At the ham factory the tour commences with a brief introduction of the historical side of the production, from here you will visit the “cold stage”, where the fresh meats are processed. You will see the machines used for salting and the refrigeration/resting cells,the seasoning rooms. At the end of the food tour there will be a taste of Parma ham a sparkling local wine.
