Playa de la Llana is not at all special or beautiful. Everywhere you look, there is a mess of human-made waste, making it an unpleasant sight. It's a shame that this beach has been ruined by our own negligence.
This beach is a picturesque natural haven. The initial stretch of shoreline is chock-full of seaweed and somewhat bustling, yet if you take a fifteen minute stroll, the crystal-clear water and secluded white sand make it all worthwhile.
Mar Mayor beach is a hidden gem. It's untouched and free from beach bars, so you can find a moment of peace and tranquility. It's becoming more popular, but still remains relatively uncrowded. It's a short 10 minute walk from the jetty, where the seaweed gives off an unpleasant odour.
An ideal spot to unwind and relax. It may seem like a long, unattractive beach initially, but if you take the time to stroll for around 15-20 minutes, you'll come across a little slice of paradise with powdery sand, crystal-clear waters, and the perfect amount of peace and quiet to make the most of your day. There are lifeguard posts and an area of dunes where thrill-seekers can seek out some excitement. So, what are you waiting for? Come and explore!
A secluded beach that is only busy during the summer and on sunny weekends. You have to arrive early to get a spot close to the shore. While some parts can be a bit grubby, it's worth venturing a bit further in to experience the clear waters and soft white sand. Highly recommended for athletes too, as there are some great cycling routes.
