Crowded beach, lots of tourists and the waves can be quite large at times. I saw a few people attempting to surf. The tide can get quite high too so be careful about sitting on the sand. The sunsets are great to watch from here though
Kuta Beach is undoubtedly one of Bali’s most famous and popular destinations. The expansive stretch of golden sand, combined with the sound of crashing waves, creates a classic tropical beach experience. It’s a great place for those who love to surf, as the waves here are perfect for beginners and seasoned surfers alike. The beach’s lively atmosphere is enhanced by the presence of local vendors selling everything from refreshing coconut water to souvenirs.
During my visit, I found Kuta Beach to be a good spot to catch the sunset, which is absolutely stunning. As the sun dips below the horizon, the sky fills with shades of orange, pink, and purple, making it the ideal time for a relaxing walk along the shoreline. However, I did notice that it can get a bit crowded, especially during peak hours, so if you’re looking for a more tranquil experience, it might be better to visit early in the morning.
While Kuta Beach has a lot to offer, I would also mention that the area surrounding the beach is bustling with activity. There are plenty of restaurants, bars, and shops nearby, which is convenient if you want to grab a bite or do some shopping after spending time on the beach. The only downside is that the beach isn’t always the cleanest due to the large number of visitors, but the natural beauty of the place makes up for it.
Overall, Kuta Beach is a great spot if you’re looking for a vibrant and energetic beach experience. Whether you’re here to surf, people-watch, or simply relax, there’s something for everyone. Just be prepared for the crowds and make sure to catch the stunning sunset—it’s worth the visit!
