Oerfaren strandbesökare
We explored the protected marine natural area with the help of INSULA360 (find them on IG), who guided us on an exclusive and detailed excursion using their dinghy:
• Tavolara Island, where we stopped for about an hour to have breakfast and swim in a stunning cove;
• Molara Island, where we swam in its natural pools but couldn't disembark;
• Turtle Rock, where we enjoyed swimming and diving;
• Beach of the Cows, concluding at Cala Suaraccia, the starting point of our excursion.
Upon arriving at the Tavolara pier, follow the path adjacent to the restaurant and then take an immediate right at the crossroads. I suggest wearing shoes as the final part of the path is rocky. The beach consists of fairly large pebbles, making it uncomfortable to walk barefoot. It’s not very crowded, possibly due to this or because it’s less well-known. The water is clear with an emerald hue, and the seabed is great for snorkeling. I recommend stopping by for at least a swim.
