The beach is beautiful, but the part where dogs are allowed off leash is a bit unclear. There aren't any clear signs, but it seems to be a stretch of about 20-50 meters between the pedestrian boardwalk track beach opening. Dogs are not allowed on either side of this area, but it seems like not many people are aware of this rule. There were plenty of dogs on and off leash in the "dogs prohibited" area. I just read another review that mentioned the designated dog off leash area is actually 2 kilometers away on Zephyr St.
