A stunning location for camping and day trips. We celebrate Christmas here annually, and it’s always a fantastic experience. There’s ample parking and numerous excellent fishing spots.

This place is extremely popular and tends to get quite busy, particularly when a few campgrounds are closed. It offers stunning sunrises and sunsets, along with a breathtaking view of Frazer Island.

I absolutely LOVE this place! It's fantastic and affordable for camping. You can fish all along the beach. Drive up to Double Island Point where you can surf, fish, or hike up to the headland. Take the small 4WD track, and you'll find the northern side of Double Island Point is sheltered from most winds, offering excellent fishing and a perfect spot to set up with the family. You can continue along that beach or take Freshwater Creek Road through the stunning rainforest to Rainbow Beach, Inskip Point, and the barge for Fraser Island. This place is the best (it just edges out Fraser due to the barge costs to get there)!
