To the north, you'll find the suburb of Rosebay, featuring a resort, a caravan park, and beautiful houses built into the mountainside. Behind Rosebay, a massive boulder hangs precariously. At the other end of the beach, Flagstaff Hill offers a restaurant with breathtaking views, complete with a telescope for enhanced viewing. Dogs love this beach at low tide. If you are passing through with a dog it's worth taking them here. Best time late afternoon coupled with low tide.
