The only downside is that some other owners tend to forget to stay close enough to their dogs to give verbal commands, keep an eye on their own dog, or carry a lead with them. We intentionally chose a time when it was known to be quiet, as there were still some behavioral issues that needed to be addressed. Unfortunately, the actions of other owners along the 2km stretch of the beach forced us to leave early.
