This isn't a chocolate demonstration — you make the chocolate yourself. Begin beside living cacao trees, then work through the bean-to-bar process yourself: roasting, cracking, winnowing, grinding, refining, tempering and moulding locally grown Caribbean cacao. You'll taste cacao at different stages, learn how fruit becomes chocolate, and leave with a bar you've made yourself. Parque Nacional Cahuita has the largest system of Coral Reefs in Costa Rica, including 6 species of coral, a wide range of colorful tropical fishes and the occasional encounter of a harmless reef shark or sting ray. This beach has a horse shoe shape, with the entrance of the park at one end and beautiful Punta Cahuita at the other end. We start with a scenic 20 minutes boat ride to have two snorkeling sessions. Then we get drop off at the Punta to enjoy a nicely presented fruit and snacks break at the beach followed by a 1.5 hour/3.5 kms guided hike in this wonderful coastal forest : monkeys, sloths, birds, iguanas and other interesting encounters are common and complemented with great info from your guide. We will then have breakfast and drive to the Sloth Sanctuary where you will learn about them, their lives, nutrition and anatomy. Llanos de Cortes Waterfall To start your day, we will take you to Llanos de Cortes Waterfall in Bagaces, where you can relax and take a swim at the falls or walk around exploring the flora and fauna. Rio Celeste Waterfall Hike - Tenorio Volcano National Park Upon arriving at the entrance, you will go on a 2 hour moderately difficult hike in the park.  You will walk through the rainforest and along the Celeste River where you can observe one of nature's most intriguing phenomenon. Organic Farm - Sloth and Frog Sanctuary After lunch, take a tour on a rural organic farm! You will be taken on an inspiring and educational walk, showcasing natural wonders such as tropical plants, flowers, birds, sloths, frogs, snakes, insects and many more animals that inhabit the farm.

For this full day tour, we will visit three incredible places that are completely unique to this area. As well as learning more about Costa Rican coffee, we will visit Poás Volcano, one of only seven active volcanoes in the country.
