This area includes the largest and most important mangrove forests in Costa Rica. The wetland is immensely rich in flora and vegetation. It also has a wide variety of fauna, serving as a refuge site for many species of wildlife, like numerous especies of birds and mokeys, reptiles, mollusks, fish, among other species. All this makes this tour the perfect opportunity to appreciate life expressed in every corner you look at. You can choose beetwen Boat or Kayak with no adittional cost.

The Térraba-Sierpe mangrove is one of the largest wetlands in Central America and the largest wetland of Costa Rica. It has 32,000 hectares and is highly diverse in terms of biodiversity, because it has six families of mangle. While you know the mangrove ecosystem, its importance and benefits, in this journey, we will be able to observe some 40 different types of birds, mangrove boa snakes, cat's eyes and corals, titi monkeys or white face monkeys, caimans, crocodiles, and Jesus Christ lizards, among other species. This mangrove is one of the largest sites of archaeological interest of the country, inhabited by indigenous people 300 years BC. This is also where the stone carved spheres are found, declared by the UNESCO as World Cultural Heritage. Duration: 3 hours or more Includes: bilingual tourist guide, beverages and fruits. Donde podras nadar con todo tipo de peces coloridos como el pez loro o el pez glodo al igual que tres distintos tipos de tortugas marinas: lora, verde y la carey Nuestro tour comienza a las 7a.m. en nuestra oficina, donde te daremos la bienvenida con café y galletas. Desde el parque nacional Marino Ballena, abordarás un bote que te llevará en un recorrido escénico de aproximadamente 1 hora y 15 minutos hasta la hermosa Isla del Caño. A tu llegada, disfrutarás de dos sesiones de snorkel guiado (una de aproximadamente 1 hora y otra de 45 minutos), con un descanso entre ambas para tomar un refrigerio. Luego del snorkel, tendrás tiempo para relajarte en la playa y después disfrutar de un delicioso almuerzo (En caso de condiciones climáticas adversas, el almuerzo se servirá en nuestra oficina.) El tour concluye con el regreso en bote al Parque Nacional Marino Ballena.
