The coastline of Kvarner Bay is peppered with beautiful towns and historic locations. On this tour, you'll visit two of its most eye-catching spots – the pretty coastal village of Lovran and the cosmopolitan seaside resort of Opatija. Josip, one of our expert local guides, says, ‘Known for its pastel-coloured villas and botanical gardens, Opatija was the place to be seen in the Austro-Hungarian Empire's golden age. This tour of "Istrian hill tops cities" will give you an impression of inner Istria. Driving to Groznjan we will stop for a photo on Lim Fjord. In Groznjan we will walk the ancient streets. If we are lucky, we might get to know one of the local artists. After Groznjan we will go to Motovun. In Motovun we will have a walking tour, small tasting of truffle products and we will visit the city walls where you can enjoy the "View of half Istria". There you will have some free time for lunch, I can reserve a table for you at the famous restaurant "Mondo", or "Montona Gallery". There you can eat A la Cart, of course their specialty are truffle dishes. On our way back we will stop in Pazin to see the Abyss.

The idea of half-day tour is to present wines from two different wineries for those who are limited with time. You will have opportunity to try fresh and aged wines made from indigenous grape varieties but also blends with international grape varieties. One winery is young, second one has long tradition but both wineries are among the best in Croatia with international recognition and international awards.
