In Motovun we will have a walking tour, small tasting of truffle products and we will visit the city walls where you can enjoy the "View of half Istria". The idea of half-day tour is to present wines from two different wineries for those who are limited with time. You will have opportunity to try fresh and aged wines made from indigenous grape varieties but also blends with international grape varieties. One winery is young, second one has long tradition but both wineries are among the best in Croatia with international recognition and international awards. During half day program you would have two professional wine tastings with an expert guide from each winery with rich, local snacks, you would visit wine cellars and experience the beauty of Istria. Transportation and guiding are included in price. I include only the best wineries and restaurants in my programs. This tour takes you into the turbulent past of Rijeka, and not just anywhere but exactly to the locations where that past took place. The focal point of the tour is a series of under- and above-ground fortresses that were built in the 30s of the 20th century as the defense of the then borders. With their construction and location, the fortresses are a masterpiece of military engineering of their era. What makes my truffle hunting adventure unique? It od a real truffle hunt, not just a demonstration. Guests experience authentic truffle hunting in the forest together with trained dogs. We also keep our groups small — a maximum of 10 people — to ensure a more personal, intimate, and authentic experience. Truffle is an unusual subterranean fungus. There are two important varieties of truffles: white truffle (Tuber Magnatum) and black truffle (Tuber Melanosporum). Both of these can be found in the Motovun forest located in the valley of the Mirna River. Even though truffles can be found elsewhere, Motovun truffles are considered to be of the highest quality.

Madonnina is a traditional Croatian wooden boat build in 1983 and renewed last winter by me and my father with much love. It is a small boat made for groups, friends or couples. After circa 50 minutes ride the boat arrives at the southernmost point of Istria - park of Nature Kamenjak, where cliffs and underwater caves can be found. It’s possible to swim with our guide inside the cave (30 minutes). The ride continues around “Porer,” the former Austro-Hungarian lighthouse, built in 1846. Afterwards a meal which is served on the boat : you can choose fish, tuna steak, meat or vegetarian. Drinks are included in the price.
