For people with mobility difficulties, Rajska plaža has several ramps for entering the sea. This Rab beach even made it to CNN's list of the Top 100 World's Beaches. The fine sand and shallow water that extends far from the coastline are perfect for children, but also for adults who like to walk or splash in the warm sea. The more active can find a large sports center nearby with various playgrounds and fields, for example for tennis, football, basketball, volleyball, mini golf, table tennis... They can also try their hand at a number of water sports and activities. If you have a dog, you can enjoy swimming together on the southern part of the beach. The Lopar peninsula, known as a "sand paradise" thanks to its numerous natural sandy beaches, is located only 12 kilometers from the town of Rab. Golden yellow sand is the main feature of this municipality, and is present on as many as 22 sandy beaches that surround the peninsula. The largest of them is this one, also known for being transformed into an open-air studio during June. Namely, then numerous young artists from all over the world create original sand sculptures for a week.

This place is ideal for kids or family. Sea is calm you have to walk 5 minutes to get deeper into the sea, sand is just fine, restaurants or bufets near seaside are tasty and good looking, prices are bit higher but nothing extraordinary. I give this place 4-STARS.

The sand beach like this is a rare find in Croatia - mainly because sandy beaches here are as unusual as finding a quiet child with a whistle. But don’t get too excited. If you're coming from Italy, especially the well-oiled beach machine of the Riviera, this place might disappoint you. No rows of sunbeds, no beach bars serving Aperol spritz every ten meters, and definitely no guy shouting “Cocco bello!” The lack of services might actually make you miss the chaos of Rimini. A little sad, honestly. Now, if you're visiting from the UK, this might feel just right. Sand? Check. Water? Wet. No sharp pebbles attempting to exfoliate your feet into submission? Amazing. You’ll love it. You’ll also be puzzled by why Eastern European tourists rave about it. But here’s the catch: check out the rest of Croatia’s coast, with its dramatic cliffs, secret coves, and turquoise rocky bays, and you’ll see why this one doesn’t quite match the hype. Now, if you’re a crazy group of 15 or more, armed with a few foldable tables, balls, a supersized cooler, lots of ice, and some very non-empty bottles, then this is your heaven. No rules, no judgment, no one selling you €6 ice creams. Families will keep their distance, which - let’s be honest - is half the charm. That’s where this beach beats Italy and the UK: you can build your own beach club, speaker system optional. The name of the beach might sound pretentious - like it was branding itself for a lifestyle magazine shoot - but it’s more modest in reality. Still, it offers a unique, gentle change of scenery compared to the usual Adriatic drama. Five stars for the uniqueness of the beach. Service, comfort, and infrastructure? That’s more like a generous one-and-a-half. But hey, the locals got lucky - and the view is still free.
