We just spent one week at thus beautiful well maintained resort and enjoyed every minute of our stay. The bartenders always ensured our cups were full (without even having to get up), the dining staff exceptional with there service, the beaches immaculate and beautiful, the snorkeling amazing, the rooms always kept spotless and all our requests accompanied immediately. I have nothing bad to say about our stay. Even though the resort may not have had access to a very few items, all they had was exceptional, from the rooms to the food to the service. This gem of a resort was so peaceful and the sunsets were all amazing.
I want to give a special shout out to Ernesto, Aldo, Armando, Daymi, and Yaikel and all the other staff that made our stay exceptional (one waiter and aqua aerobics staff and lifeguard who made bracelet for Mariette :).
I truly would recommend this resort to anyone pondering on whether to visit or not. 5 star+ in my opinion!

This trip was amazing! Staff here is very friendly and will go out of their way to make sure you have the best experience. Pool and beach staff is awesome and energetic. We had a blast my sister and I! Very clean, beds and pillows like home. I enjoyed every minute of my stay and will be back for sure! Beaches are beautiful 😍

I just returned from my trip to Meliá Buenavista and I had a great time!
The service was amazing and the staff were very friendly. If I was sitting by the beach or pool someone would approach me and ask if I would like a drink. I find that they were not begging for tips (I tipped well because of their exceptional service and not because it was expected).
I have heard a lot of mixed feelings about the food in Cuba and how people were unable to find anything to eat but that was not the case for me at all! I had prepared snacks and seasoning just in case and I did not use any of it. The food was good and the waiters were amazing and quick. All the items that are limited in Cuba was made to order which I think that is better as they had taken a lot of care it making it. There was nothing that I lacked or felt like I didn’t have. Given I am not the biggest foodie but I 100% enjoyed the food.
My room I have mixed feeling about
I had a walk out patio to the pool. My room was large and spacious! All the lights worked and the a/c was working. I enjoyed the bath that was in my room and the outdoor shower! Two things that I noticed was that there were some need for renovations and that the a/c was a bit too high at night. I tried to turn down the a/c and it did not work. The renovations was things that I see as minor things. So if you don’t look too hard the room is completely fine! Overall I loved my trip and I really want to extend my stay.

我有一个通往泳池的露台，房间很大也很宽敞！所有的灯都能用，空调也正常工作。我很喜欢房间里的浴缸和户外淋浴！我注意到的两件事是需要一些装修，空调在晚上有点太冷。我试着调低空调，但没有成功。这些装修是我看作相对小的事情。所以如果你不仔细看，房间完全没问题！总的来说，我非常喜欢我的旅行，我真的很想延长我的住宿。

My girlfriend and I had an amazing time. The water and beaches are second to none. All the staff were super friendly, hospitable and always ready to make our stay more enjoyable. Special shout out to Andrexson whose energy and friendliness made every night enjoyable! Highly recommend for anyone considering Cayo Santa Maria for their next vacation.

We've come to Cuba many times over the years and this is simply the best resort we've ever stayed at here.
There are three beautiful beaches at the resort, each of which had their own unique charm.
The restaurants and snack bars are excellent and the rooms are very nice as well. We did have a small snafu in our room at the beginning, but they quickly rectified it.
All of this, however, pales in comparison to the exceptional staff. They provided us with stellar service and were one of the highlights on our trip.
多年来我们多次来到古巴，这里绝对是我们在这里住过的最好的度假村。
度假村有三片美丽的海滩，每一片都有各自独特的魅力。
餐厅和快餐吧都很优秀，房间也非常漂亮。我们刚开始在房间遇到一点小问题，但他们很快就解决了。
