The stay was very good, the treatment and service very familiar, the best thing is the typical local and very healthy food cooked over charcoal. The simple but comfortable room with the minimum essential services, towel, toilet paper, soap, hot water, air conditioning. It is important to note that the place only has electricity at night from 8 p.m. to 3 a.m. The rest of the day is natural to live the experience. The welcome, if not the absence of a welcome, was frosty unlike other Cuban casa particulars. No sympathy, either from the manager or the owner who didn't even respond when we left. He may not have liked that we didn't have breakfast at his place but he didn't have any milk or chocolate for the children. The fish is fresh and rather well prepared but the quality of the meals is average, especially the rice, and does not vary. 2 correct rooms despite the absence of electricity and water during the day {not announced upon arrival) but the 3rd is clearly unworthy: no water at all in the sink, no electrical outlet and exposed bare wires, no shower head in the shower where the water flows in a small trickle... Yet the price remains high. Fortunately we had proof of payment made in advance because he also asked us to pay again for this room!
We also discovered on site that the beach is crowded with stones and especially sea urchins! Therefore, without suitable shoes, swimming is not recommended.
Also note that midges attack at the end of the day by biting you, which subsequently causes pimples. Mosquito repellent does nothing. So bring pants and jackets!!
Worst Cuban experience of casa particular mainly for the personality of the manager / owner and the quality of the room.

Villa Azul has two separate houses, each with two bedrooms.
La Bajada is a very remote, peaceful area, but bring water; there are no shops for a 30-minute drive.
Don't forget pants and mosquito repellent for the evening.
Maria la Gorda is a 20-minute drive away.
The villa is run by Yuniel, whom we saw very little, and especially by Ricci, aka the Tiger of Malaysia 😀.
He was lovely to us, and we truly shared fantastic moments with him and his other sidekick in the kitchen, who prepared delicious meals with fresh fish for us morning and evening.
It brought tears to the eyes of some, and just tears to others, as we left them for other adventures.
Thank you for everything.

La Bajada is a remote place in Cuba that is very quiet and exciting to see very particular natural landscapes. It is the starting point for visiting the Guanahacabibes National Park and also for diving or snorkeling in the western coral part of Cuba. Villa Azul is an excellent accommodation, very well maintained and with a staff that makes everything possible in such a remote place.
La Bajada是古巴一个偏远的地方，非常安静，并且令人兴奋，可以看到非常特别的自然景观。它是参观Guanahacabibes国家公园的起点，也是古巴西部珊瑚地区潜水或浮潜的好地方。Villa Azul是一个优秀的住宿，维护得非常好，工作人员在如此偏远的地方尽一切可能。
