Booked to stay here, turned up in the day and they said they didn’t have space for us. Offered us our money back in 2-3 days and to use their facilities. Really not what you need after a long drive. Also whilst trying to find somewhere new to camp for the night the WiFi was rubbish

I’m writing this review at 00:17 past midnight. There is a group across the street from us that is the family or friends of someone who works here. They have been partying since before the sun went down. They have loud music and are laughing and yelling loudly, so I guess they are drunk. The employee who works at this camping is there participating. They are negligent and have no courtesy or consideration for others around them as they are keeping my family awake with their loud noise. We came here with our baby who goes to bed at 20:00, and he has not been able to sleep for the past four hours because of their drunken idiocy. To say I am disappointed with the behavior of the employee is an understatement. They don’t need too many brain cells to know that you shouldn’t be blasting loud music and yelling loudly when you have people near you who are trying to sleep. I turned on and off the outside lights to signal that their behavior is not ok, but they continue anyway with no regard for us. This place actually has some good things about it but this experience has been so negative, with the employees participating in the loud partying, that one star is too many to give to this place. Don’t come here you will be disappointed one way or another with people like this working here.

I bought some burgers and fries. They looked good at first, but when I took a bite the burger was cold an raw. This was also the case with the 3 other burgers I ordered. When I went back the woman said she would only give me new burgers or the money back for my burgers. When I asked for something in return for my trouble she said no and walked away. I expected something for my trouble especially because we ate raw pig meat and had to walk back again!

The bad: - I believed from the pictures and price I was booking a lakeside cabin (Luxury MAX TOP PRESTA). I was in fact 4 rows back. This was very disappointing on arrival. You can see the lake through the trees from above. - The cabin was not clean on arrival. There was dishes left out and it had clearly not been swept. - They don't provide any washing up liquid or sponges which would explain the above. - The kayak and pedalo rental isn't open, even in the last few days of June! This meant the pool was packed so I had very little to do. I felt I was misold so would not stay again or recommend. The good: - The actual cabin design is very nice had it been clean and the air con works well. - Big space for the car in the shade is great. - The lake itself is very nice, with kayaks it would be wonderful. - The restaurant was nice

Arrived at 13:30 although check in isnt til 14:00, no issues letting us in. Decent size pitches, plenty of shade. We had a pitch along the lake so didn't experience the hills that other reviews had issues with. Pool area is lovely and clean. Lake is beautiful and by far the best thing about this campsite. Toilets were clean, showers were hot and heat adjustable. The only issue for us was the access to food. Even in high season the shop was shut most of the day, snack bar only served ice cream and crepes between 14:30 and 18:00, so if you don't have supplies in your camp, then you will go hungry!
