Tour through the historic old town of Stralsund

The DARSSBAHN, a so-called little train, takes you on a tour of Stralsund. It starts at the ferry bridge at the fish market, in front of the harbor island, and takes about 45 minutes. Marvel at over 500 listed gabled houses, numerous churches and monasteries, and the maritime side of Stralsund, with the many small canals, sailing boats, and fishing boats around the harbor island. After the train starts, it heads towards the Hansa-Gymnasium, past the oldest harbor bar in Europe, straight into the narrow streets of the old town, past the Scheelehof, in Külpstraße you can take a look at the historic town hall facade, then past the ponds, city fortifications, and ramparts towards the Neuer Markt. After a lap there, continue towards the Heiliggeist Monastery and the Schwedenkai. During the trip there are numerous explanations of the city's history in German.

Great walk along the promenade with lots of places to eat and drink available. The beach itself is excellent with the usual chairs available to rent. Definitely worth a visit.

美丽的沙滩延绵不绝。在公共假期时人并不多。每个人都有足够的空间。孩子们在玩沙子、收集海螺和建造城堡中玩得很开心。四周飞着很多海鸥，其中一些可以看到从人们手中抢食物..:D

Beautiful long stretch of sandy beach. It was not very crowded on public holidays. There was enough space for everyone. Kids had fun playing with sand and collecting sea shells and building castles. There were a lot of sea gulls flying around, some of them can be seen snatching food from humans..:D

This attraction bustling with tourists in summer, was calm and serene with hardly any soul around this winter. It was absolutely beautiful to see the beach sand covered with white snow. The entire stretch of beach has resorts facing the ocean. Taking a walk on Seebrücke Binz is a must! :)

Amazing place to visit. All this island is beautiful but Binz has it all: sea, restaurants, landscapes and shopping. Take some bread to the beach and you will be able to interact with the birds, look at my experience in the photos. We had a great day, no matter the weather, the place is great. I very much recommend.
