There is only one sandy beach in island. This make special there. Way is not bad but there are many stones falling from the hills on the road, you should be careful. We went there in off season restourant was not open. Sea is cold and making body fresh after swimed

Nice and quiet beach, clear waters, a lot of sea life around the cliffs if you like to do snorkeling. Too deep waters for childrens.

Firstly ...the road, perfectly accessible by car just the last couple miles is very winding, plus the bends where clearly in the winter months they become fjords care is required.
The beach ...at the end of the road you come to an open area to park and have two choices...
Go onto the blue boardwalk with flags flanking either side to a unnamed bar area with individual sun beds and shades...you pay €5 per person for bed and with this comes your first drink...after that drinks seemed to be €3 each, except lagers like corona etc...run by a very nice (Arthur Daley type character with a few young boys serving you,so relax and enjoy (I believe this bar is affiliated also with the dolphin restaurant behind)
The second choice is to go to the right ,again follow a blue board walk with red arrows to Nicolas bar...here shades are not individual but big covers ,perfectly OK but drinks here are more expensive, this is also where you get the boat taxi to Vatos beach, but didn't go as boat was broken, also there is a restaurant at the back same name ,clearly signed
Toilets are at the restaurants I believe, or there is the obvious choice depending on your requirement 🤣🤣🤣
To the left of all of this is a large section where you can just put your own shades and chairs if you prefer...the sand is basically kiln dried sharp sand and or kiln dried hard core type ..easy under foot, sea is lovely gets deep about 2-3 metres out...enjoy

走上蓝色的木栈道，两侧是旗帜，通向一个没有名字的酒吧区域，那里有单独的阳床和遮阳伞……你需支付每人€5租用床位，并且这包括你的第一杯饮品……之后每杯饮料似乎是€3，除了像Corona这样的啤酒……由一个非常友好的（类似亚瑟·戴利的角色）和几个年轻男孩为你服务，所以放松并享受吧（我相信这个酒吧也与后面的海豚餐厅有关系）
第二个选择是朝右走，再次跟随蓝色的木栈道和红箭头到尼古拉斯酒吧……这里的遮阳伞不是单独的，而是大型遮盖，虽然很好，但这里的饮品更贵，这里也是去瓦托斯海滩的船出租车的地方，但我们没有去，因为船坏了，后面也有一个同名的餐厅，标识明显。
厕所在餐厅里，我相信，或者根据你的需求有明显的选择 🤣🤣🤣
这一切的左边是一个大区域，如果你愿意，可以放置自己的遮阳伞和椅子……沙子基本上是窑干的锋利沙子或窑干的硬块……脚感舒适，海水很美，大约在2-3米外变深……享受吧

Lovely beach, but utterly ruined by the ghastly "beach bar" playing loud music which, literally, can be heard across the entire area. This may be great for those people who enjoy such things, but for those of us who don't (and we are many!!) it is a major deterrent.
可爱的海滩，但被可怕的“海滩酒吧”彻底毁了，播放着响亮的音乐，几乎可以听到整个区域。这对喜欢这种娱乐的人来说可能很棒，但对我们这些不喜欢的人（我们很多人！！）来说，这是一大令人却步的因素。
