We will provide you beach towels free of charge. Our next destination is the wonderfull cave of the numph Melissani and ancient Greek God Panas. Melissani lake cave has been in kefalonia since mythical times, and first explored in 1951. An earthquake created an opening in the roof, of the lake cave, and that roof allows the limited entrance to the Sun rays and creates an extraordinary scene of blue and turquoise waters. We will visit the interior of the lake cave by boat , and we will also see the small island where our ancestors, held ceremonies dedicated to God Panas and the nymphs.
