The new development unfortunately cleared out all the small warung and stalls. No place to buy a local coffee or snacks any more. The flair of the beach is gone, this is not the Bali so many tourists enjoy and love, certainly not the Sanur we loved. All what is left are some construction sites, probably more airconed pizza plaslces like further up already, and lots of rubbish

I'm glad they took out the white tent, because it made the place looked dirtier and messier. My videos and pictures were taken on different times: before and after the tents are gone. I believe the authority tried to organize the vendors. I applaud the effort but so far the wooden carts and wooden stalls projects around Sanur and Kuta beach don't look well maintained/allocated, and these white tents definitely didn't work. Hopefully they will find something that balances the local and simple look and at the same time provides better place and shelter for the vendors. There are many gazebos along Sanur beach, this is probably the only one with the gazebo in the middle (they are usually at the ends of the path). More populated by locals, this is a place to unwind, enjoy simple water sports and street food. Sometimes there are garbages but overall, it's okay with the sandy shores.

It's alright Lots of Warungs on the beach. Feels quite local here, although there's really not a lot. Doesn't feel like the place that's popular or particularly appealing to visit. It's quiet though, nice little spot to sit on. Probably give it a 3* on cleanliness.

Perfect beach for you who wants to feel peace! The waves is calm, the sand is white, there’s not much garbage on the beach. Frequent number of vendors (not too many). Perfect beach for family with kids. Especially, it’s not too crowded. Best time to visit during sunrise, there are a lot of cafe for breakfast.
