Delight your senses on your first stop at Pindarie Wines with a wine tasting and morning tea, then enjoy some free time to leisurely explore the charming main street of Tanunda with a stop at the Mengler Hill Lookout after to capture breathtaking views. Indulge in the your second wine tasting of the day, followed by a gourmet lunch at Lambert Estate before stopping at Chateau Tanunda for a brief guided walk around the grounds and a wine tasting. A fantastic half day exploring Adelaide's beautiful Hahndorf. Take in the incredible view of Adelaide and suburbs from 710 metres above sea level at Mt Lofty Summit (weather permitting). Then walk the street and discover the delights of Australia’s oldest German settlement. Mount Lofty, the highest peak in the Adelaide Hills, offers breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape and city of Adelaide. It's a popular destination for hiking, picnicking, and enjoying nature, with lush gardens and scenic walking trails.
Most visitors remember the wineries. My hope is you'll remember the Barossa. I'll collect you from your Barossa Valley accommodation, so your day begins in the region, not with a long drive to reach it. With no more than five guests, the day unfolds at a relaxed pace as we explore a mix of boutique family wineries and well-known Barossa names, with time to enjoy the scenery, villages and local stories along the way. Whether you know a great deal about wine or simply enjoy discovering new places, I want you to experience the Barossa itself and see it through the eyes of a local. Start your full day with a visit to Mt Lofty Lookout (Weather Permitting) and a short stop for coffee at Beerenberg Farm. From there you will have free time exploring Hahndorf, Adelaide's oldest German settlement where you will have some free time to explore the many shops and galleries full of local arts, crafts and produce. Then travel though the townships of Adelaide Hills to Barossa stopping at places of interest along the way. A full day tour takes you to South Australia's premium wine region. Have lunch at Kies Family Wines or another venue if not available. After Lunch we will visit Maggie Beer Farm and Seppeltsfield Winery to explore the grounds and visit the Jam Factory and Vasse Virgin. Take a walk around these Magnificent Grounds. Return to your hotel between 5-5:30pm
This is premium small-group wine touring at it's best! Our very small groups have a maximum of 6 guests and we regularly depart with less. We visit premium wineries and pay the tasting fees, so you get to try the best wines of the region. There is no set itinerary so each day is different. We know all the best wineries, trust your local guide to create the perfect day. Some of our favourite wineries include Rockford, Langmeil, Rusden, Torbreck, Tomfoolery, Two Hands, Elderton, Gibson - and many many more! Lunch is a special menu created by the chef, which will include a range of dishes for all to share. Enjoy a glass of local wine or beer as the perfect accompaniment to your seasonally inspired lunch. Please note: we do not visit mass-production wineries like Wolf Blass or Jacobs Creek to taste wine, nor breweries, gin distilleries, cheese shops, Maggie Beers, etc - This is a specialist wine tour, not a general sightseeing tour of the Barossa.

With over 27 years in Adelaide & the Tourism Industry we have great knowledge about Adelaide and Hahndorf. This is a Narrated Tour and is subject to change as sometimes we have requests to maybe go a longer way thru the Adelaide Hills weather permitting. Sometimes we may skip Mt Lofty. If you can't see it from the city we will waste are time going there, which may give us more time to visit another area along the way or spend more time in Hahndorf itself. It is a group tour, totally a shared experience and numbers can reach up to 25 in a day and can be accommodated in a car, minibus, and bus/coach.

All this only 25 minutes from Adelaide CBD. Whether you’re a seasoned paddler or trying kayaking for the first time, our friendly and knowledgeable guides will ensure you feel confident and safe on the water. All equipment is provided, with tours suitable for adults and children over 10+ (Children 10-15 must be with a parent/adult in a double kayak and must be able to paddle) Participants don’t need any prior kayaking experience, and we travel at a comfortable pace to accommodate reasonable fitness levels. This is a unique and special destination and an absolute must do when visiting Adelaide. Please note departure times are varied due to tide times and it is essential that you arrive 15 minutes prior to departure time.
The Kayak Tour explores the Dolphin Sanctuary and Ships Graveyard Maritime Heritage Trail, just 30 minutes from the Adelaide CBD. Here you find one of Adelaide's "secret spots", it is an area of surprising beauty. The sheltered mangrove lined creeks are home to a fascinating array of marine life, birds and the Port River Dolphins. The Ship's Graveyard is a unique feature of the area with over 20 "wrecks" to view. All this makes for a sensational adventure and kayaking is the most environmentally sensitive way to explore and interact with the dolphins.
