In addition, safety will never fail, thanks to the First Aid Kit available to the Guide for any assistance on the vehicle and the maintenance column present at the farm. On departing from Monterosso, while enjoying the welcome drink, we will sail across the whole coast of Cinque Terre, all the way to Riomaggiore and Punta Montenero which close the National park on the south-east. Along the coast you will take a break to give our guests the opportunity to swim in one of the wonderful coves of this area. Back on the boat, we will navigate to Punta Mesco across the most north-western point of Cinque Terre National Park. Here you will admire the fascinating landscape made of lights and colors and if you are lucky you will see some dolphins breaching the sea-surface. A plunge in this wonderful sea can’t be missed. Together we will ride in the National Park, guided by the words of the local Guide, along terraces, olive groves, sanctuaries and you can admire the Cinque Terre coast, from Mesco to Punta Manero, with its characteristic villages from above. The very small number of participants allowed allows the development of a more engaging experience and attentive to the needs and curiosity of each. In addition, safety will never fail, thanks to the First Aid Kit available to the Guide for any assistance on the vehicle and the maintenance column present at the farm. As we take in the stunning view of the sea from the vineyard, you'll begin the class by learning the fascinating history of pesto from Spezia. Cesarina will explain the traditional system of using the best basil plants and carefully selecting high-quality ingredients to ensure the best flavor. Then, you'll learn the two methods of preparing pesto: using a mortar and pestle or an electric blender and you'll recieve tips on how to properly store the pesto to keep it fresh for as long as possible. After you've made pesto, you'll package it up to take home and enjoy. You can savor the fruits of your labor either when you return home or on a rocky cliff overlooking the sea. The experience takes place in my XVI century private home in Riomaggiore (Cinque Terre) located in the village center where my dog Ettore and I will welcome you with a glass of prosecco. After few steps you can appreciate the stunning view of the village and the sea from the roof terrace on the 3rd floor of the building.
