The tour departs from the port terminal of Messina. Your driver will pick you up at your ship's gate. In 45 minutes, we'll arrive in Castelmola, a picturesque town located in Sicily, just a few kilometers from Taormina. Perched on a hill at about 530 meters above sea level, it offers breathtaking panoramic views of the Ionian coast and Mount Etna. After a stop of about an hour to explore its beauty, we'll depart for Taormina, where you'll have 2-3 hours of free time to explore one of Sicily's most beautiful cities. We'll then make a short stop at one of Taormina's most beautiful viewpoints, where you'll have the opportunity to take memorable photos. On the way back to Messina, we'll stop to visit the cathedral, famous for its bell tower, which houses the largest and most complex mechanical and astronomical clock in the world.

This hike involves a stage itinerary to let you know and appreciate places of particular natural value within the Etna Park reserve up to an altitude of about 2000 meters. Thanks to the experience of our staff, on board 4x4 vehicles you will have an interesting and fun experience. Starting from the lava flows that threatened entire countries, the extinct craters and the viewpoint of the majestic Valle del Bove will be visited. You will visit a lava tube equipped with a helmet and speleology lights. The tour will conclude with a tasting of Sicilian specialties. You will sail alongside monuments and views that have marked the history of the city: the Porto Grande, the Listing of the Maniace Castle, the Fonte Aretusa and the ancient Ortigia seen from a completely different perspective.

From here you can observe the majestic Summit Craters You will visit the effusive mouth of the 2002 eruption and from here you will descend along the sands to Montagnola from where you will observe the Valle del Bove. The return will be on foot to the Cable Car for about 3 hours of total walking. The Guide, having evaluated the weather and volcanic conditions at the time of the excursion, may at his sole discretion interrupt the stay in the area and decide to return the group to the starting point.
