Le Morne Brabant Mountain, situated as part of the Le Morne peninsula at the extreme southwestern tip of Mauritius is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Mauritius and a UNESCO World Heritage Site Since its inscription on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2008, Le Morne Brabant was closed to the public but after much deliberation, it was officially reopened to the public in 2016.
