According to the oral narration of the elders of the region, the name of this beach goes back to the sinking of an Italian ship near the mainland of the region. The meaning of the name of the beach, “Agharabo Yarzan,” is the broken boat. The residents of the region benefited from the parts of the boat and removed the copper and iron from it.
