A completely remote beach beyond the Lake Matheson attraction, if you should keep going that is.
The drive to the beach from memory is roughly 20 or so minutes on gravel but the absolute highlight is just the typical West Coast forest experience.
The beach is absolutely stunning as well, with no one around, the site is spectacular. If you are staying in or around the Franz Josef/Fox Glacier areas, I would recommend a detour to this beach.

A remote West coast beach that the locals recomended to us whilst visiting Fox.
The drive to the beach includes some unsealed road through natural forest which only adds to the experience.
It is a beautiful pebble beach that is not well known.
There is a camp site and toilets.

Awesome beach on a beautiful day. The historic cemetry is worth a look. The road in was good.

Drove a Haval (2WD) for 12km (took ~0.5hr) through the gravel road, was doable but do drive slowly to look out for potholes along the way/ lookout for cars from the opposite direction as the road is really windy and narrow for 2 cars to pass through at the same time. Only passed by 2 other cars, very very secluded and we had the entire campervan park and beach to ourselves.
Not recommended for swimming as the waves were very strong, although it was pretty cool watching the large waves crash along the shore.
