Nordland is the Sea Eagle’s kingdom, here is the largest concentration of Sea Eagles in the whole world. In the immediate area outside Henningsvær, we have several pairs, each with its own territory. We go out in large rib boats that provide close contact with nature and wildlife. If the weather permits, we’ll go out to an Orchard colony and try to find the Grey Seals. They can be 300 kg and about 3 meters long. If we’re lucky, we also come across Minke whales, Porpoises or Killer Whales. On the trip, we admire the wild landscape and Vågakallen, which is one of Lofoten’s highest and most fabled mountains.

We will walk through some of the most picturesque parts of the island and end on the famous tunnel photo exhibition, representing 100 years of Skrova history. Once the biggest fishing village in Lofoten, Skrova has a long history connected to fishing and whaling, but also a thriving community who has been changing and adapting through times. Together with history, culture, food and fishing, you will hear stories about ghosts and local crimes!
