Artek (Артек) is an international children center on the Black Sea in the town of Hurzuf located on the Crimean Peninsula, near Ayu-Dag. It was established on 16 June 1925.

This is a place where children are happy. It's like something out of the song "small country". Clean air, beautiful architecture, sea, trees, sun and wonderful people around.
Artek is a place with its own legends, rules and customs.
On shift, children and employees are given a uniform (for a shift in May this is): beige pants (m,f), skirts with pleats and a belt (w), polo (m), polo dress (w), belt (m), blouse (m,f), 2 T-shirts (m,f), cap (m,f; it is given to the guys after the shift), payta (m,f; the same as a sweatshirt) and windbreaker (m,f)
If it’s a winter shift, then the guys also have jackets, hats, gloves
If summer - shorts
Artek is an international children's center, which means it is a huge territory, within which there are currently 9 of the 12 operating camps.
I personally was in the Lazurny camp. Excellent food, uniforms are washed once a week, as well as bed linen, great atmosphere, good school.
But this paradise also has its downsides, such as the daily routine. He's shot down. There are completely busy days where we get almost nothing done, and there are those where we “spit at the ceiling” in the building (you can’t go outside).
This is the only negative
And the nature and people in this MDC are excellent!
