The Royal Tour Queen Jacqueline the FIRST met the big wild beach today. The big scary noisy moving blue, fringed with handmade lace and trimmed with white tassels. The carpet was pale and soft, which required considerable effort from the Dowager. The carpet was littered with flower like ornaments, typical of these people, flowers and tassels seemingly everywhere. Actually mauve, red and butter coloured seaweeds. Strange creatures lurked hither and thither, and I thought that they might want to play, but they lay unmoving, legs in the air, so I couldn’t chase them. Driftwood and spindly, sea washed branches. Hard morsels, not tasty at all, and rather uncomfortable for my tiny toes, partially exposed, rather like badly hidden treats. That big noisy stuff jumped up and wet me, cold wet licks, which wasn’t part of the deal. In the late afternoon shadows, with the absence of warm comforting sun, being wet makes one cold and decidedly unhappy. Why would the people bring me to such an outing? Then I discovered pretty colourful snail like toys in pinks and purples with winged shiny things peeping through the carpet. Apparently, those used to be alive and having fun, but now they are just sitting and waiting, waiting for? Perhaps when the people find the sun again, we can try all this again. Life is so much for fun in the sunshine and warmth So that was the seaside.

A quiet, dog friendly beach with a shallow rock pool. We had an occasional friendly encounter with a dog off the leash, but mostly owners respected the leashed dog rule. Local residents privately maintain some areas of the beach. Not a swimming beach, but pleasantly relaxing for a strole along the ocean. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

漂亮的海滩，有很多美丽的贝壳，唯一的问题是没有救生员，而且有相当多的岩石，所以游泳是危险的，但海滩非常干净美丽，适合散步并收集贝壳，我的孩子们非常喜欢。

Nice beach , has a lot of beautifull shells, only thing is there isnt any life guards and quite a lot of rocks so making it dangerous to swim there but very clean and lovely beach to walk on and pick up shells my kids loved it alot.

Really spectacular beach with beautiful views and soft sand to walk and play on. Even though this is a public beach, there is only a few people who walk or swim here making this beach a nice and private beach. This beach is ideal for taking long walks on, for walking your dogs or for just wandering over the beautiful rocks to gaze in amazement at the incredible rock pools filled with little sea creatures. This beach does not have a supervised swimming area with lifeguards so swimming is at your own risk. There are many rocks along the beach so it might be dangerous to swim here. Situated on the beach is the Shelly Beach Ski Boat Club which serves amazing cocktails and platters, ideal to sit at after a long walk. However pets are not allowed here. I would definitely recommend visiting this beach and enjoying a long walk down the beach.
