Umtentweni beach is the perfect spot for anyone looking to enjoy a day by the sea. The beach itself is simply beautiful, with crystal clear waters and golden sands that stretch for miles. What's more, there is a fantastic kiosk on site, which serves delicious snacks and refreshments to keep you fueled up for your beach adventure. Parents will be pleased to know that there is also a designated play area for children, complete with swings and slides, ensuring that youngsters are kept entertained throughout the day. What's more, the Tidytowns team do an excellent job of keeping the beach spotless, meaning that visitors can relax and enjoy the pristine surroundings without any worry. One of the highlights of Umtentweni beach is the abundance of rocks, making it a brilliant place for budding explorers to discover the local marine life. Sport fishing enthusiasts will also be in their element, with plenty of fish to be caught in the sparkling waters. A great beach to relax with the family, the beach is neat and tidy offers a number of facilities for the family like a small shop where you can grab everything from food to beverages and ice cream or fishing nets and toys for the kids. There's lots of communal benches and braais and even kids jungle gyms and a lovely rock pool. It's a great beach for fishing and offers a variety of sea life like coral, sea urchins, crabs, muscles, crayfish and all kinds of fish. For those who enjoy admiring the exquisite scenery this is certainly a great beach to visit as you have Shad lane just up from the main beach were you can collect all kinds of great shells and precious stones and for those who enjoy catching a wave this is a great beach to swim or surf.
