It was the most beautiful beach I have ever seen. The blue water and perfect beach! Absolutely perfect! There is no water or shops. This place is very remote, and you truly need a capable 4x4 to reach the beach. The road is very overgrown, and there are no signs to direct you. You can easily get lost! Please use your GPS. I recommend that you do not travel alone, but rather go along with another car! You can easily get stuck in the thick loose sand.

As a local in the area for about 11 years this is by faaar the best beach around here - From the underwater scenery to the wild bushes around you if you're an adventurous person this has to be one of your stops 💯❤️ The drive to the beach is not as rough as it used to be but you still driving in the bush remember that 😉

It is a limited visitors beach. Need a permit from Natur passport. It is only for a day visit. Very difficult to reach and only by 4 X 4. The road to BlackRock test the driver skills and vehicle in the sand quite a lot. The beach itself is very safe and a very nice spot to swim even for children. Very nice for snorkeling and fishing. All the effort to reach Black Rock Beach make it worth wild to visit.

We really love this place ❤️💙. Best beach in RSA. Great 4x4 routes to test your SUV. Kosi black rock allows about 20 cars into the reserve. The permit is bought at the kosi ezemvelo office. There's helpful happy officers there to advise you on their different beaches around the area and additional activities like fishing, kayaking, forest walk and snorkeling. Snorkeling and a short hiking trail with some rock climbing can also be done at Black rock. There's a clean toilet by the parking area. You will never be wrong for bringing your family to visit Black rock. Kids and adults love this place ❤️💙
