This was the fourth beach we visited on our trip west from Thurso, and it turned out to be another fantastic stretch of pristine golden sand. It was well-maintained and shielded by two headlands. The beach was so clean that we decided to kick off our shoes and enjoy walking barefoot through the gentle waves. Although the initial coldness took us by surprise, it actually added to the excitement and made it a fun experience. Additionally, there is a small car park conveniently located just a five-minute walk from the beach.

The camping spot is decent. It offers toilet and shower facilities, although the ground can become muddy and certain areas may get flooded during rainfall. There is a lovely beach to explore and a short walk to a trig point. However, it's important to note that the water at the beach can become contaminated by the runoff from the nearby mountains during heavy rain, so I would advise against swimming in such conditions.

The beach is absolutely breathtaking, offering a beautiful view from the road and an even more impressive sight up close. It is well-preserved with five gates for protection, and there's even a bird to add to its charm. 😅
