All participants receive a comprehensive and thorough lesson and are immersed in an authentic experience that for some; create a new passion and way of life. We meet downtown, select the wetsuit that fits best, and the board you want to surf from a large selection of long boards, mid-length and foamies. (short boards are available for advanced surfers.) Ojai has a 100-year history of ceramics. Our studio, located a mile from the city center, is surrounded by nature, in the midst of a fruit orchard. We are a working studio for many of the great artists in the Ojai Valley. Visitors may watch potters work, and may "try their hand" at a range of techniques. After making their pottery, they may may pay a small fee for our staff to trim, glaze and high-fire the work. This "finishing" work takes about 3 weeks. Visitors may also come back to glaze their OWN work. There is no charge for this. AND we will even ship your pieces anywhere in the country...

All of our guides are Lifeguard Certified with the American Red Cross and guests may choose to swim on our tours ;-) We provide Light Weight Fully Carbon Fiber Paddles for enhanced user experience. On warmer days guests may to swim, scale up Bonzai, and leap into the water for a more thrilling adventure. Guides capture stunning photos. We are allowed to launch a maximum of 6 kayaks on any given tour. On tours with more than six guests booked, guests of the same family will be asked to paddle in pairs. Guests desiring kayaks for themselves should choose tours with less than six total guests.
