Our vehicles are specially designed to be low, wide, and stable, allowing them to navigate steep sand dunes with ultimate ease and grace. We also offer regular UTVs that seat two or four persons for a more leisurely ride. Adult We provide all the materials needed. This experience is for a 10” x 20” Fluid Art Piece, with the option to upgrade to larger canvas sizes in the studio for an upcharge. All of your experiences are instructor-led and require no experience, which means we lead you step by step, and you leave with a product you love! Child Anyone 3 years old and up is capable of doing this fun and easy, fluid art experience with parental supervision. This kids' experience is for children under the age of 13 only. We provide all the materials needed. This experience is for a 12” x 12” Fluid Art Piece, with the option to upgrade to larger canvas sizes in the studio for an upcharge. All of your experiences are instructor-led and require no experience, which means we lead you step by step, and you leave with a masterpiece you love!

Highlights Include: Live Programs and Tours: Demonstrations and tours by costumed interpreters are scheduled throughout the day. Exciting programs taking place throughout the 2024 season include a daily Mackinac Parks: 125 program, an updated Soldier’s Life program, an expanded People of Fort Mackinac Timeline Walking Tour, and an exciting Drill, Tactics and Firearms Program. The 2024 daily event schedule will be posted soon. Exhibits: All fourteen buildings in the fort are restored and open to the public. They are furnished with period settings highlighting the building’s particular function or a themed exhibit. Colonial Michilimackinac is a National Historic Landmark, and is home to North America's longest ongoing archaeological dig. Costumed interpreters portraying British soldiers, merchants, voyageurs, Native Americans, and other tradespeople are on site daily, providing demonstrations, tours, and programs. Colonial Michilimackinac also offers unparalleled views of the Straits of Mackinac, Mackinac Bridge, and Mackinac Island. During the summer months, weather permitting, archaeologists are on site, digging through the layers of soil, pulling out bits of history in front of you.

Parasailing is a water sport in which a person is towed behind a boat while attached to a parachute-like canopy. The parasail is suspended from a harness that is attached to the boat, and as the boat moves, the parasailer is lifted into the air and glides through the sky. Parasailing in the Straits Area, you can see views of the famous Mackinac Bridge, see Mackinac Island from a distance and a birds eye view of the beautiful Lake Huron. To participate in parasailing, you do not need any special skills or training. The activity is typically supervised by trained staff who will provide you with all the necessary equipment and instruction.
