Transportation Only to this popular beach. Rainbow beach is popular for families or anyone who wants to spend a perfect getaway. Its white sand and perfect water is best for swimming, snorkeling or just enjoying and relaxing in the calm, clear water. Rainbow Beach is located up Route 63 and is accessible via an entrance in a local restaurants. Rentals (not included in the price) are available makes this beach unbeatable. You can rent most of the equipment and water sports you need from chairs, umbrellas, wave runners, kayaks, beach volleyball, and jet skis. Great foods are also available. Grab a seat at the beach bar and try out their dishes and refreshing juices. Public rest rooms are also available. This is "a must try" when you visit St. Croix.

Legend has it that this is the setting of Robert Louis Stevenson's book "Treasure Island." The Caves are a gorgeous snorkel with friendly fish and three different caves to snorkel in and explore.
