Lots of lovely things about this resort. Lovely staff and atmosphere. Beautiful location. Felt the rooms were a little lacking/ breakfast wasn’t great and some things very expensive like $25 for a coffee! Mostly a really good experience

Peter and I spent 4 nights in the treehouse fale at Coconuts Beach Resort in June.We had a lovely garden view from our fale.If you want a truly relaxing holiday then this is the place to come. You get to experience the wonderful Samoan hospitality and food. Brian and his friendly staff were very kind and helpful during our stay. The fiafia night was amazing and was such a delight watching the dancing and singing of the Samoan group. Highly recommend staying here

What a beautiful hidden gem!
The Coconuts Beach Club Resort truly exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and genuine hospitality. The place is absolutely stunning — lush gardens, peaceful surroundings, and views that take your breath away. Waking up to the sight and sound of the ocean each morning was so peaceful and beautiful.
We spent the first half of our stay in one of the villas, then moved to an overwater fale for the second half. The rooms are spacious, beautifully decorated, and incredibly comfortable. The beds were perfect — we slept so well. Even when it rained, the resort had a special kind of magic. That said, although the forecast predicted rain every day, it only rained twice during our 10-day stay.
A huge thank you to Brian for making our stay even more special. You are absolutely wonderful — kind, attentive, and always going the extra mile. And thank you as well to Lai, Mari, Nifo, Matalena, Sieni, Ciala, Tuvalu, Lani, Petelu, Ioane, and Chai— your kindness and friendliness made all the difference. (I hope I have spelled your names right).
We loved the cultural events that gave us a glimpse into Samoan traditions — it was such a meaningful and enriching part of our stay. There were as well beautiful places to visit nearby. And swimming with the turtles? Marvellous.
This place truly is a hidden gem, and we feel so lucky to have found it. We can’t wait to come back.

My partner and I were there for 4 nights in the treehouse cabins.
Great location, we couldn’t believe that we could be snorkeling with turtles 30m from the restaurant beach which was a real highlight for us.
One of the low lights was definitely the room lighting, not enough light to even operate the safe without a torch or phone light. I couldn’t even read in bed at night or find things around the room without using my head torch.
The included continental breakfast was also very disappointing compared to another smaller simpler resort we stayed at (suvaii lagoon resort)on the other island that treated us to a complimentary breakfast of a large serving of fruit, cereals and 2eggs on 2 toasts plus jam and tea or coffee. A great start to the day with no need for lunch.
Coconuts only provide a tiny banana, one strip of paw paw, one tiny piece of pineapple and then two 1/4 sized croissants and a small banana muffin and cold tea or coffee with endless topups if you like cold beverages. Pretty disappointing really when you look at the $$$$ spent on the whole resort.
Dinners were also pretty average and highly priced for what you get and something that I would not recommend although unless you want to travel 35 km over to Apia you’re kind of stuck with what you get because there’s not a lot of options nearby if any.

after long days staring at computer screens back home, the gentle warm lighting in our treehouse room at Coconuts was the perfect welcome to our vacation.
the room design was stunning, especially the waterfall shower and balcony overlooking the gardens and travellers’ palms.
the staff were very helpful and eager to show us how to access activities nearby. we’re here for surfing/snorkelling so were grateful to meet Neil from Manoa Tours that operates from the resort – absolute legend, only too happy to share tips and recommendations.
the continental breakfast is generous, with tropical fruit and toast/croissants and jam, and french press coffee. we didn’t need to order anything else.
we had a few dinners at the restaurant in the evening, highly recommend the sashimi and local meals.
we’ll definitely be back and highly recommend – especially if you’re new to samoa. fa’afetai lava 💛
