If you're planning a trip to Caraiva, you simply can't miss out on the stunning Praia de Satu. However, to make the most of your visit, it's important to time your arrival with low tide. You can easily check the Tábua da Maré de Caraiva on Google to ensure you're there at the perfect time.
While the first stretch of the journey can be done by canoe, some adventurous visitors opt to swim instead. If you have items that can't get wet, a canoe ride is the way to go, with tickets costing just R$8 (as of November 2022).
After the canoe ride, it's a pleasant 50-minute walk along the beach to reach Praia de Satu. The peaceful path offers stunning views of the surrounding landscape.
Once you arrive, you'll be rewarded with a breathtaking view of the beach and warm waters that are perfect for swimming. Don't miss out on this must-visit destination during your trip

Although the road leading to the beach may pose a challenge, I assure you that the journey is well worth it. In the event of rain the night before, I would suggest avoiding the trip altogether. However, if the weather permits, you will be greeted with a stunning view of the beautiful and pristine beach. One of the highlights of this beach is the little river that flows into it, creating a natural swimming pool that is perfect for children. You will also find a plethora of dining options that offer both local cuisine and a variety of other dishes. Mucuri Bahia is a truly magical place, and this beach is my personal favourite spot to visit.

O acesso é um pouco difícil (estrada de chão bem acidentada - carros pequenos podem ter que ser deixados um pouco antes das caminhonetes) com duas porteiras que devem ser abertas pra passagem e depois fechadas. Mas creio que é exatamente isso que torna o lugar menos acessado e, portanto, mais conservado. Oferece um mar morno e um rio mais frio, que é a alegria da criançada e conforto antes de ir embora com aquele banho de água doce. Logo depois do rio tem um cajueiro enorme que oferece sombra pra muita gente. Muita vegetação presepada. Em suma, um paraíso lindo! Não dá pra perder essa oportunidade de conhecer quando passar por Cumuruxatiba. Recomendo com empenho!

The water is so shallow and warm, you'll feel like you're swimming in a giant, luxurious pool. And let's not forget about the fine, white sand and the charming stream that runs right by the beach entrance. All in all, this spot is a true gem.
