What a stunning beach! I decided to take the bus from Paraty's central station to Vila Oratorio, and from there, the hike began. The signs were clear, and after about an hour of walking, I reached Praia do Sono. Although the path was hot and undulating, it was well worth the effort. I must admit that some parts of the trail were slippery, and I was warned to be cautious of snakes, spiders, and scorpions. I even came across a dead snake on the path.
I stopped for lunch at the only open restaurant, and it was surprisingly delicious. I suspect that the low season might have something to do with the limited options, but there are plenty of bars and restaurants along the shore during peak season. There are also camping sites available, which is an excellent choice for those who want to stay longer and explore nearby beaches. For the more adventurous, there is a five-night hike, where you camp along the way and bring

As you make your way down the winding trail from Cajaiba landing, you'll soon realize that this isn't your average beach. Oh no, it's much more than that. With the option to arrive by boat or by foot, you'll feel like a true explorer as you venture towards this hidden gem.
Once you arrive, you'll be greeted by not one, but two caiçara restaurants that offer up some seriously tasty fish PF. At 40 reais a pop, it's a steal for the fresh catch of the day.
