This beach is a treacherous trek to reach, tucked away like a forbidden paradise. Your only options are to brave the steep and claustrophobic trail from Pântano do Sul, where you'll be huffing and puffing for 35 minutes straight, or take the longer, but still grueling, 2.5 hour hike from Praia da Armação. The latter may have some nice views, but don't forget to bring enough water and sunscreen to survive the journey.
But let's be real, the only reason anyone would even attempt this arduous journey is for the bragging rights of making it to the beach. And sure, the scenery may be nice, but is it worth the sweat and tears? Once you finally arrive, you'll be greeted with a beach that's just like any other. The only thing that sets it apart is the smug satisfaction of knowing that you made it there.

I totally recommend this silent small and picturesque beach located in a quite area of the Florianopolis far from the city center or partying Lagoa da Conceicao.
The name Armação comes from the old economic activity in the area and the site was used for the production of whale oil. It was the common type of oil for street and houses lights in XIX century. Also other parts of whales were used, such as meat, fat and even fins. As a result, overfishing led to extinction of whales in the area in a middle of XIX century.

Sou naturista, gostaria muito de conhecer Pedras Altas quando vou a Santa Catarina, mas devido a praia ficar em um ponto afastado isso acaba dificultando, a praia é paradisíaca, um belo lugar mas devido ao acesso ser complicado eu e minha esposa costumamos irmos direto pra Praia do Pinho, além de ser 12 km distante do centro de Baln. Camboriú local onde costumamos nos hospedar o Pinho fica em uma rodovia pavimentada, a praia conta com uma estrutura completa e isso acaba puxando os naturistas, o que não acontece em Pedras Altas e Galheta!

实际上是两个小海滩，周围几座房子，通过山顶的土路通往，非常适合四驱车。没有商业活动或旅游设施。是一个迷人的地方。我们从河流前的船库步行前往，几乎是一片荒无人烟的地方。太棒了！

This beach is a treacherous trek to reach, tucked away like a forbidden paradise. Your only options are to brave the steep and claustrophobic trail from Pântano do Sul, where you'll be huffing and puffing for 35 minutes straight, or take the longer, but still grueling, 2.5 hour hike from Praia da Armação. The latter may have some nice views, but don't forget to bring enough water and sunscreen to survive the journey.
But let's be real, the only reason anyone would even attempt this arduous journey is for the bragging rights of making it to the beach. And sure, the scenery may be nice, but is it worth the sweat and tears? Once you finally arrive, you'll be greeted with a beach that's just like any other. The only thing that sets it apart is the smug satisfaction of knowing that you made it there.

I totally recommend this silent small and picturesque beach located in a quite area of the Florianopolis far from the city center or partying Lagoa da Conceicao.
The name Armação comes from the old economic activity in the area and the site was used for the production of whale oil. It was the common type of oil for street and houses lights in XIX century. Also other parts of whales were used, such as meat, fat and even fins. As a result, overfishing led to extinction of whales in the area in a middle of XIX century.
