It felt like a Godsend to spot this beach from the road and manage to pull into the last 'official' parking spot (you can probably fit around 20-25 cars altogether between proper spaces and surrounding area). Free and easy to park (we'd previously had a couple of hairy moments trying to park the rental car at another beach). Couple of portaloos, a changing booth and bins that people did appear to be using 👍 our family spent a couple of pretty blissful hours here. I'm sure it's not as perfect as other beaches in the area but for us totally worth it for the ease and it was also pretty quiet. Didn't spot any nudists but each to their own anyway. You definitely need sea shoes here due to lots of urchins and spikey stones. Kids enjoyed snorkeling.
The Budima beach is a beautiful hidden gem on the coast of Croatia. The main attributes of this beach are the seclusion and peace. In the height of the season in the middle of August, this beach is almost empty. It's long and spacious. Very few visitors. It's very clean. The water is like from the movies. Absolutley clear and blue. It's a joy to come here and chill, relax in peace and quiet. Another great thing is the free parking above the beach.
But, please be aware of a few things. First of all, part of the beach is reserved for the nudists. So there will be some naked visitors on the far end of the beach. Second of all, there is almost no natural shade. And finally, this is a wild beach, there are a lot of see urchins, so be prepared for that.
Other than these few things, this place is beautiful and amazing. I fully recommend a visit if you are looking for some peaceful relaxation on the seaside.
